Brittany Williams

Brittany Williams is an artist based out of Rochester, NY. She has had her work shown in galleries, public spaces, companies, and editorial publications. Williams is a former Division I basketball player with a major in Child Development and Family Relationships. Throughout her collegiate career, she’s attributed her artwork to being part of her story. She would later postpone her professional career in basketball to become an artist. BDUB is a nickname she acquired from her teammates, that she uses as a signature on her works to this day. Brittany's art focuses on the lived experiences of her surroundings. She uses subject matter such as everyday people, patterns, and a vivid color palette, reflecting on situations that are ever present around her.
